Industrial pig raising at Binh An farm meets Vietgahp standards. Ensure the quality of output products to supply to the market and consumers.

The farm is designed and built according to the standard model of C_P Livestock Company, including 2 main areas: working area, living room and pig raising area. Regarding the working area, the living quarters include an office area for accounting, engineering and management. The worker housing area consists of 2 large buildings. Mixed bran warehouse and bran pellet warehouse to supply food sources for pig farms. From the security gate, there are 2 gates and there is a separate disinfection area when entering the camp. Besides, there is a living and entertainment canteen area for employees.
The pig raising area is divided into 4 areas: breeding area, farrowing area, weaning piglet area and slaughtering area. The farm is built in a closed dual model to prevent problems in the production process. Breeding area includes two pregnant sows including mating area, gilts waiting for mating, aquatic venom and pregnant sows. An isolated rearing barn, a boar house for semen collection, and a semen processing room.

The pig farm with a scale of 10,000 pigs and 1,200 pigs for meat an area of ​​11ha, of which construction area was 1,821ha. The farm’s productivity per week produces 500 pigs, equivalent to about 47,500 kg of meat. Currently, until June 2021, the farm has the following pig herds:

Hybrid Pig of Landrace và Yorkshire

Landrace and Yorkshire crossbred pigs are selected and bred from imported pigs. This is a breed with very high reproductive productivity: number of live births per litter /15; the number of weaning animals per litter ≥12; weaning weight (28 days old) ≥5.4 kg/head; number of parities/sow/year ≥2.3 litters/year. VCN08 pig breed is suitable for use as background sow in farm breeding conditions.
